You're Not Alone

You are experiencing this problem because Canadians are not taught about personal finance. We are handed our first pay cheque and sign up for our first credit card, and are expected to figure it out as we go, making mistakes along the way. This means the vast majority of us miss out on a lot of valuable time we could be investing and building out finances until we decide to take matters into our own hands.  When we decide we are ready to learn to invest, much of the content online is not directed toward investing for beginners in Canada, so it can be confusing and overwhelming.
