Diet and savings

September Diet: How Diet and Savings are tied

As a serious coffee drinker, I didn’t think I could undertake this challenge. My husband and I decided to do a 30 day diet plan to try and shed the quarantine 15!

Part of it includes cooking/prepping all meals and snacks from real whole foods, and NO CAFFEINE!

First 2 days there were caffeine withdrawal headaches, but on day 5 we are doing good so far.… I am down 2.6lbs already.

Food is one of the things we normally are guilty free spenders on. Not that I don’t love cooking. We have a budget for food delivery each month. This month we can’t order any Doordash or Uber Eats deliveries, nor pick up any Tim Horton’s or Starbucks! We may be spending more on groceries this month yes…. but we are cutting out our take out and coffee budgets to ZERO.

Some of that budget will go to groceries, but the rest into savings and investments!

Good for our net worth and our waistline!!

Whats one thing you consciously spend on guilt free?

Would you go a month without it?
